Primark Beauty/Makeup Review

Sorry for the inconsistency of my blog posts recently, but I'm doing my Year 10 mock exams at the moment and I haven't really had much time for... well anything that isn't revision to be honest.

So anyway...

I do understand that Primark isn't exactly the typical place you would want to buy a mascara or a lip gloss. But think again! I'm going to show you all of the secretive gems that are hidden away in Primark. P.S. Sorry for all you Americans and basically, anyone that doesn't live in the U.K. But to be fair, you guys get NYX and we 'n' wild and Elf and SO many other things. So it kind of evens out a bit.

The Foundation Stick is a really creamy consistency, medium coverage and well-lasting foundation. I tend to use this more as a concealer under my eyes, as I find it can crease a bit on my forehead in those little worry lines we all get. I have it in the shade 'light' which is not my natural skin tone at all! However, it is very brightening and offers a semi-matte consistency. Plus, as you can see (by the scratch marks apparently, I'm not sure how they got there), this item has been quite well-loved since I purchased it.

Price=£2.50-Would you believe it!?

The stippling brush is really good for buffing in foundation, concealer and cream blush. It's one of those brushes that can be used for SO many things, as it is slightly smaller than the average foundation brush, yet slightly larger than the average concealer brush.

Price=around £1.50

I always find eye brow pencils difficult to find as they're either too warm toned, too light, too dark or I'm not a fan of the formula. The Primark eyebrow pencil is actually shockingly good for the price;it has a chocolaty color (slightly too warm-toned for me, but I am extremely fussy), a helpful spooly, and a very cheap price tag-what's not to love!?
Price=£1.50ish

I am a massive eyeliner flick addict and this easy-to-use pen makes it really simple. The nib is quite thin and the color is very black, making an eyeliner look a piece of cake!
Price=£1.50ish

I have been loving this mascara!! The clue truly is in the name-lift and curl-it does both soooo well! First of all, the wand is strangely shaped, making it easy to grip the lashes. Secondly, the color is very dark black and pigmented. And thirdly, the flutter that this mascara gives your eyelashes it beautiful. Unfortunately I'm really not a fan of the packaging, but for a stunningly pretty natural-looking lash, I can look over the tackiness!
Price=£2.50

These are actually some of my favorite eyelash curlers-they're a one-trick wonder type ordeal, with cute handles and fuss-free foam to make curling lashes, easy and completely non-painful!
Price=£1.50ish

A double-ended eye shadow brush here. I tend to prefer to use the larger end for concealer and the other end for packing on shadows or applying eye shadow under my lower lash line. It can be kind of annoying, the fact that this brush is longer than the average one, meaning it won't always fit in your makeup bag, but the double end does also make it duo-usable (if that's even a word haha).
Price=£1.50ish

I have actually used these fake eyelashes before and I got quite a few compliments. I don't tend to wear lashes regularly as, to be honest, I'm really crap at applying them! But these ones give a voluminousness fluttery look to the eyes.
Price=£1.50

If you're looking for the PERFECT Kylie Jenner 90's nude, then look no further! I might do a further review on this, or something like that, because I've been totally addicted to it! This P.S Love (Primark's beauty line) lipliner is a gorgeous classic colour. I'm not sure if this has a particular shade name, however it says the number 01 on it in small lettering, if that helps!?
Price=1.50

And finally, I can't wait to whack out this bad boy pink coral lipstick in the summer time this year. The formula is surprisingly creamy given the fact it is a matte finish lipstick. I would've usually have preferred my pinks to be sheeny, but in this case, this is the sort of lipstick that you could base a plain outfit around-and a matte, I think, looks a bit more statement.somehow...
Price=1.50ish

I'm really sorry that I wasn't 100% sure about a few of the prices, but nothing was over £2.50, therefore meaning they're all total steals!
