I absolutely love finding products that are not only good, but that nobody else seems to know about it. As much as we all love it when people ask, 'oh my goodness, that blush is beautiful, what is it?'- it can also be kind of annoying, as you somehow don't want people to have the same things as you do. At least... I feel like this :/ hehe! But I thought I'd share with you all a couple of my secret products that personally, I think are worth more hype as they are total diamonds in the rough!
The Next Moisturising Lip Balm is an absolute treasure and I basically use this when my lips really do need a pick-me-up, and Nivea and Vaseline just won't do the job! I'm not sure if you can still purchase this one as (sounds gross) this one is about 3 years old! Please don't judge me, I just didn't use it for about 2 years, but for the past year, I have treasured this lip balm. It gives a sheeny look to the lips and it smells of coconut (which I wouldn't usually like, but this smells fab!)
I think this has to be one of my favorite makeup items ever! It is the Clinique blush in 'Bashful Plum'. Again, not too sure if this is still available as it is extremely old too (sorry about it hehe). There is a Clinique blusher in 'Bashful Blush', so I'm thinking/hoping that although the name has just been changed, the product is still the same. It's a stunning plumy-toned pink with quite a bit of shimmer, but definitely no glitter! It's also one of those blushers that isn't not pigmented, but it isn't as though you will have two stripes on your face making you look like an American Football Player.
I use this as my everyday eyebrow product- the Natural Collection eye shadow in 'Crushed Walnut'. Very ashy toned, very cheap, and you can get a strong brow if you put quite a bit on your brush, or a natural brow as it isn't overly pigmented
Jordana 12 Hour Made To Last Eye Shadow Pencil in '04 Continuous Almond' is a dupe for MAC's 'Painterly Paint Pot' as it is a perfect wash of colour for all over the lid; to help even out flaws, veins, discoloration and also to act as a primer for eye shadow.
Rimmel Extra 3D Lash mascara is one of the less hyped-up mascaras from the high street but I really love it. I finds it separates but truly makes your lashes lengthened and really really black.
This beauty is the Elf All Over Cover Stick in 'Lilac Petal'. I found this on a wim and originally bought it to be a lipstick, but I absolutely love it for a highlighting blush. It gives beautiful perlesant finish with gives a cream finish and leaves your skin very healthy and glowy.
I'm trying not to go in to too much detail on this one as I'm doing a blog post soon about p.s. love makeup/beauty range. But it's a lip liner from Primark (of all the places :D)- It's nude, it's Kylie Jenner, it's matte and it's just plain 90s.
Finally we have a Collection Lasting Colour lipstick in 'Queen of Hearts'. A gorgeous red, which is a really good cheap dupe for MAC 'Russian Red', only it is a sheeny finish and ever-so-slightly more orange toned.
I hope you've enjoyed hearing me witter on about some amazing products which personally I think get overlooked.
