Never fully dressed without a smile | Brighter\bolder lip option

Ello there chums!
Today I wanted to talk about confidence in your smile. I'm actually slightly self-conscious about my smile, but to be perfectly honest, I don't know that many people who love their smile!? But still, when someone takes a picture of me, I am much more likely to smile as I really can't pull off pouting of any other pose to be honest.

But still, even though not many girls tend to wear bolder lip options, and when they do, they tend to feel self-conscious of having lipstick on their teeth, I actually tend to smile more with a bolder lipstick! For some reason, my self-confidience is built up when I wear a bolder lip. As much as I would love to wear red lipstick absolutly every day for the rest of my life, it isn't really feasible when at school.

I think that's why I am quite insecure about my smile, as I tend to smile more with a brighter lipstick, and at my school, you cannot get away with coloured lipstick. Consequently, this means that I do not smile as much in school as out of school, and therefore, my confidence is better outside of school then in it.

As much as I love my Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in '107', I wanted to go back to a basic red, as the '107' is quite a deep bluey toned red. So I wanted to strip back to a bright and bold, pillar box sort of red.

So then I purchased this....

MAC lipstick in 'Russian Red'

I've tried this lipstick out a few times and it has shot up to being in my top 5 favourite lipsticks!! It is such a perfect matte pillar box red. It can look slightly orangey toned in certain lights, but it tends to just look like a perfect eye-catching red.

I want to start enbracing my smile more (you know new year and everything). If you are scared for some reason of pulling off a bold lip, or maybe you've had a bad experience with a bold lipsick (it's transferred, gone on clothes, smudged etc..), trust me, I have probably experienced your pain. But in all honesty, in the unlikely circumstance that one of the above does happen, then really don't be too self-conscious! I always find, when I see girls wearing bold lipsticks that have smudged slightly or something, I am much more likely to be staring at their lips because I adore their lip colour, instead of the smudge. And the rest of the world may or may not think the same, but does it really matter!?

If you are looking fabulous, and your feeling confident, then don't care what you look like?

Plus, if you're smiling, I guarantee you are going to look be B-E-A-UTIFUL, and ten times more confident then if you're not.
